--Sylvester Stallone has opened up on the secret scene in "The Expendables" featuring himself, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and my greatest dreams come to life. According to the actor, Willis plays the man who hires Stallone and his titular team for "a death-defying mission," but there's another operative that could take on the job — none other than Stallone's longtime rival, played by Schwarzenegger. "I talked about this scene with these guys for a long time, but I never thought it would come to fruition," said Stallone. (PopWatch)

--NBC is going from "Heroes" to "Zeroes" in an all-new television project from "Crank" duo Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. Titled "Zeroes," the one-hour NBC project will focus on a crisis situation's final hour. "We want to drop right into it and sustain the absolute most berserk state of crisis, when all of the options have been exhausted," said Taylor. (THR)

--Speaking of massive crises, Fox's "24" is about to resurrect an old villain: none other than former President Charles Logan, who last appeared on the cusp of death in the show's sixth season. Despite his final bloody moments, executive producer Howard Gordon said that the opportunity to unite actors Gregory Itzin and Cherry Jones, who plays the current president, "was simply too compelling to pass up." (The Ausiello Files)

--Morgan Freeman will tap into his geriatric-but-naughty side in an upcoming comedy titled "Dirty Old Men," which Peter Segal is potentially directing. The film focuses on "an aging playboy who finally meets the love of his life," but Morgan's character — the playboy's best friend — does everything he can to interfere with the new couple's happiness. Should be a nice companion piece to "The Bucket List," no? (THR)

--Sookie Stackhouse and Batman's former main squeeze Rachel Dawes are set to team up in "The Romantics." Katie Holmes has signed on to replace actress Liv Tyler in the Anna Paquin-starring indie movie, which also features the talents of Josh Duhamel, Malin Akerman, Elijah Wood and Adam Brody. Holmes will have a producing credit in the film. (Variety)

--Fans of NBC's recently canceled cop drama "Southland" can breathe easier today knowing that the show is finding a new home over at TNT. The series, which stars Ben McKenzie, Michael Cudlitz and Regina King, should have the opportunity to embrace its grittier side on the new network. (Variety)

--If anybody could get me over the loss of Robert Englund as Freddy Krueger, it's Jackie Earle Haley. The purported first review of the "A Nightmare On Elm Street" remake has popped up online, describing Haley's performance as "no nonsense, to the point, smarmy, ugly, repulsive and just plain vile... what you would expect from a child molester and it fits the story." (AICN)

It has finally happened. The moment I've waited for ever since I was old enough to enjoy a hard-R action film — which was younger than I'd care to let my mother know, thank you very much — has finally arrived.

Sylvester Stallone. Arnold Schwarzenegger. Bruce Willis. On screen. Together.

The trio of iconic Hollywood action heroes united this weekend to film a scene together for "The Expendables," Stallone's long-awaited ensemble action epic. The writer-director-actor was able to wrangle both Willis and Schwarzenegger for smaller roles in the movie, and while we first broke word of this reunion a few months back, the actual filming has commenced — and based on the admittedly scarce details, this not-so-secret scene sounds pretty wonderful.

Publicist Maria Lascala described the shooting over at Ethelmae's Blog, which already hosts a bevy of insightful commentary on the behind-the-scenes process of "The Expendables." Lascala wrote that when Schwarzenegger, Willis and Stallone first arrived on set, all three of them "greeted each other with excitement and anticipation."

"I thought it was electric in Brazil when all of The Expendables stepped on set — but today was atomic!!!" Lascala wrote on the blog. "[The] whole crew was mesmerized as we watched the three of them play off of each other in a pivotal scene that sets up the whole movie."

Lascala was secretive on the details, though she did identify Willis' and Schwarzenegger's characters as Church and Trench, respectively. Additionally, the scene was shot inside of a church "without extras and minimal set [decorations]," and is apparently filled with "tension and humor."

From the sound of it, there wasn't as much butt-kicking, skull-crushing and flesh-chewing as some of us might have liked — or, perhaps, Lascala is merely throwing us off the scent — but the fact that Schwarzenegger, Willis and Stallone have actually filmed a scene together is enough to get me giddy about "The Expendables," as if I wasn't excited enough already.

Are you excited for Schwarzenegger, Stallone and Willis to share screen time together? What do you think the secret scene involves? Let us know your best guesses in the comments section!

Could Hollywood really be making a movie that will be marketed on billboards and marquees nationwide as “A Couple of Dicks”? The answer is yes… and, well… no.

“That was everyone’s intention, but I don’t think it’s gonna happen,” Adam Brody told MTV recently, echoing Kevin Smith’s statements that he may have to change the name of his now-wrapped Bruce Willis-Tracy Morgan buddy cop comedy. “We were talking about [changing the name]; you can’t really advertise that before 9[pm on TV] if that’s the case, so that really hampers [the studio].”

Over the last few years, the “Clerks” writer/director has had plenty of experience grappling with would-be censors, and as he recently admitted to Brody, the writing is on the wall. “I know he feels a little burned, because he fought really hard for ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’ [to retain its title],” Brody said of Smith’s last flick. “And then it didn’t do that well. This time he’s like ‘F-ck the title, you can call it ‘Cream Cheese,’ I don’t care.’ So, I’d be surprised [if he kept it].”

As profane as it might sound, the title is actually pretty clever –- as anyone who has ever seen a black & white detective flick remembers, “dick” is shorthand for detective -– but nevertheless, Brody and the other stars of the film have spent the past few weeks brainstorming.

“We’re all trying to think of alternate titles that aren’t just ‘A Couple of Cops,’ which I could see it being,” Brody, who plays a fellow policeman in the film, said with a shrug. “But, some [names we’ve come up with] are catchy. It’s actually pretty tricky. We’ve got no good runner-ups so far.”

Instead, Brody recommended that we open up the floor to you guys to help name the February 2010 flick. “You absolutely should,” he laughed.

So let’s hear it, folks: what's a good title to replace “A Couple of Dicks”? Give us your ideas in the comments section below or hit us up @mtvmoviesblog on Twitter! Maybe you’ll help name Kevin Smith’s next flick!

Do you like my punny headline?

A very strange week as far as your clicks go. In an odd change from the norm, not a single one of the top three stories for the week has anything to do with vampires. In fact, "Twilight" news doesn't pop up on the list until position number five. Could my Twilighter readers be slipping?

Before we ponder that question, let's take a quick look at the week's Box Office Poll. To no one's great surprise, Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" leads the voting, with 75% of your clicks. None of the other options really inspired you, with "Post Grad" tying for the second place spot with "staying home and watching TV." Ouch.

-- I don't get it, but for some reason, this February 2008 post detailing the final Cullen casting announcements did big numbers over the last seven days. Strangeness. 'Twilight' Film's First Family Of Vampires Is Finally Revealed

-- Now this makes more sense. The first "Avatar" still. Admit it though. You clicked because of the ThunderCat comment, didn't you? The First 'Avatar' Still Hits The Internet, Features Sam Worthington And A ThunderCat

-- Okay, clearly it's the headline that drew you in. Kristen Stewart is working on a film with Ridley Scott's son Jake in which she plays a 16 year old prostitute living in New Orleans. Kristen Stewart As A Prostitute And A 'Dirty Dancing' Remake In Today's Dailies -- 8/19/09

-- The new "New Moon" trailer. We have it. 'Nuff said. The 'New Moon' Trailer Has Arrived And It's RIGHT HERE

-- No additional news has emerged, but word escaped last weekend that "Iron Man" star Robert Downey Jr. may soon be wearing a drinking blood as Anne Rice's popular vampire Lestat. I can totally see it. Robert Downey Jr. May Sink His Teeth Into Anne Rice Series 'The Vampire Chronicles' As Lestat

-- Last Friday, I posted to remind you that the "New Moon" trailer was coming and that, to celebrate, I would finally sit down over the weekend and watch "Twilight" for the first time. I did, and I appreciate all of your comments, both in this post and in my subsequent "review." You See The 'New Moon' Trailer This Weekend, I'll Watch 'Twilight'

-- Earlier this week, we got our hands on some new "Avatar" images. None of them are particularly action-packed, but I'm not surprised at how this post performed considering how sparing James Cameron and his people have been with sharing glimpses of the film. Until today's "Avatar" Day, of course. Trailer, Images Arrive For James Cameron Sci-Fi Epic, 'Avatar'!

-- Early in the week, a rumor surfaced that Brad Pitt would be appearing in Guy Ritchie's "Sherlock Holmes" as Moriarty. Warner Bros. acted quickly to squash the rumor, but as it happened we had a Ritchie interview from earlier in the month in which the director confirmed that Holmes' arch-nemesis would indeed have a cameo sort of appearance in the film. EXCLUSIVE: Guy Ritchie Confirms Moriarty For 'Sherlock Holmes,' Says Nothing About Brad Pitt

-- Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Willis will appear on screen together for the first time in "The Expendables." What more do you need to know? Bruce Willis Will Join Sylvester Stallone And Arnold Schwarzenegger On Screen In 'The Expendables'

-- The number one story for the week was Josh Wigler's Saturday box office report, in which the big news was obviously the fantastic performance of first-time feature director Neil Blomkamp's "District 9." This movie deserves every bit of praise that it gets and then some. My favorite movie of the year so far, even edging out my Sundance favorite "Black Dynamite." Moviegoers Bravely Explore 'District 9' In The Saturday Box Office Report

They are three legends of the silver screen. Separately, they've made dozens of films that have had a huge impact on the lives of moviegoers. Fans have been wanting to see them unite on screen for decades. Now, the trio are finally planning to make a movie together.

“I want to send best wishes to Sly,” Bruce Willis said with a grin when we spoke with him last week. “And the Governor of California, my old pal Arnold.”

The “Die Hard” star confirmed to MTV News that he is leaving time open on his schedule to shoot a cameo for “The Expendables,” the ultra-violent, star-studded action flick written/directed by and starring Sylvester Stallone. Sly is currently putting the finishing touches on the movie, which also stars Jason Statham, Jet Li and Mickey Rourke as mercenaries overthrowing a South American dictator. Willis said that the he will soon join Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger to shoot a very special scene for the flick.

“Not yet, I haven’t united with them,” said Willis. “I’m waiting for a call from Sly about when we’re going to try and make that happen.”

Willis’ confirmation is huge news to fans who grew up in the 80s and 90s idolizing the three biggest movie stars in the world – but only saw them together in footage of “Planet Hollywood” openings, a themed restaurant venture they famously launched in 1991. Although various projects – including the soon-to-open “Inglourious Basterds” – have been rumored as films that could unite the men who gave us Rambo, the Terminator and John McClane, it's never become a reality until now.

“I don’t know anything about [my character] yet, haven’t seen any pages yet,” Willis explained. “But I’m excited about it.”

Willis confirmed to us that the scene will involved himself, Arnold and Sly together on camera. “That’s the concept,” he said with a grin. “That’s the plan.”

"The Expendables"' massive cast of muscled action heroes also features such tough-guy notables as Dolph Lundgren, Steve Austin, Terry Crews and Randy Couture. The film is due in theaters next April.

Let’s settle this once and for all, action fans: Bruce, Sly or Arnold – who is the greatest of all time?
